Assigning a Logical Disk to a Storage Group

You can assign an empty logical disk to a storage group.

Notes:  

To assign a logical disk to a storage group

  1. On the PHYSICAL MACHINES page, select node 0.
  2. Click the Storage tab.
  3. Select an empty logical disk (its Size Used is 0).
  4. In the Actions column, click Move to Storage Group.
  5. The Move Disk to Storage Group dialog box appears. In the Storage Group drop down box, select the storage group.
  6. Click Move to Storage Group.
  7. On the PHYSICAL MACHINES page, select node 1.
  8. Repeat steps 2 through 6 above.

On the STORAGE GROUPS page, the new storage group will appear with a non-zero size.
