Post-Installation Tasks

After completing system installation, you must complete several post-installation tasks, including:

• Obtaining System IP Information
• Logging on to the everRun Availability Console for the First Time
• Configuring Required System Preferences:
  • Configuring Date and Time
  • Configuring Remote Support Settings
  • Configuring Quorum Servers
  • Specifying Owner Information

• Configuring Active Directory
• Managing Local User Accounts
• Resolving Outstanding Alerts on the Dashboard
• Connecting Additional Networks

In addition, you must configure external storage if your system includes it. See Configuring External Storage in a Newly Installed Release 7.4.x System.
