Recovering a Failed Physical Machine with External Storage

You can recover a failed physical machine (PM) that is connected to external storage while the system is running. For systems with Fibre Channel or iSCSI external storage, you begin by recovering the PM, and then you update initrd and modify the multipath.conf and lvm.conf files. For systems with iSCSI external storage, you also stop and restart the everrun-sim service, remap LUNs, and use iscsiadmin for various tasks.
